ALEX GIBSON

Alex Gibson is a New York City-based performer.

 

He has appeared on Broadway in the original casts of "Pirates! The Penzance Musical", "SpongeBob Squarepants" and "Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812."

He has performed off-Broadway in "Octet" at Signature Theater (receiving a Lucille Lortel nomination and Drama Desk ensemble award), as well as Transport Group, La MaMa, Egg & Spoon, and The Billie Holiday Theater. He has performed across the nation at regional theaters including the Guthrie Theater, The Old Globe, Berkeley Rep and Alliance Theater.

 

TV/Film credits include The Beast in Me, Doom Patrol, and additional vocals for seasons 1 and 2 of Schmigadoon!

In addition to improv, voice over, and other actor-y things, Alex is a writer; his short musicals, songs, and sketches have been performed at various venues around NYC including SoHo Rep, 54 Below, La MaMa ETC, and Tisch.
